not about the same old thing

Bring on the colder temperatures! It's supposed to be autumn, for pete's sake.. c'mon, bring on the 32 degrees! We can take it! It's supposed to be cooler.. it's November 1st tomorrow! It should be pretty chilly! Not this 60's & 70's degree weather each day. Forget the warming trends! We need a good solid ground-freeze, about 18 inches deep.. that's the frost-line around here. Lets get rid of the mosquitoes, spiders, gnats, ticks and all that other stuff that needs to be gotten outa here for the winter.

Changing for the Better

This morning, I got onto the opening page for Blogspot, just to look into other people's writing and sites, to see what people are writing about, and it really opened my eyes to something about myself. I have been rather self-serving in my writing, and seeing what others write about made me realize that there is a lot going on in the world around me. I looked at Phil's site, and loved the many photo' he has posted there! Northern Utah.. that right? Phil doesn't know me. But his site is wonderful! Then I looked into a site called TwoTrees. I had looked up sites with the typed in word, "trees", just to see what I would find!

TwoTrees is a young lady's writing about a lot of different things, and I noticed a lot of stuff going on there, meant to be beneficial to people displaced by the hurricane which hit New Orleans! I thought that was really cool! Some neat pictures of friends and buildings around the hometown. This was in Canada. If you read this, I hope you don't mind. You are someone I think is very nice.

My own little world has expanded today and for the better. I will be writing about things like my love for Trees! Because I love trees. And about things like, how much I love my brother, my sister, my neices and nephews.. I don't have kids.

And to know that people are writing about more than just themselves.. but are interested in a world around them which is an interesting place with lots of interesting people.. This is life..
